In our restaurants in London, Porto Cervo and soon New York you will find only fish caught in Italy and totally controlled in the chain between the sea and your table. Why restaurant and fish market? Because at Santo Mare you will have the opportunity to choose the catch of the day directly from the restaurant window.
In our menus there are only seasonal products, raw and cooked with mastery and Italianness by our chefs. You can taste – among many specialties – the red tuna tartare of the Mediterranean Sea and the Sicilian red shrimp carpaccio.
From the first courses, in a rich menu, we will propose linguine with lobster, spaghetti with clams and tagliolini with scampi and lemon; for the main courses, salted seabass and stewed red mullet.
The Santo Mare of London is located in the central and elegant area of Marylebone, inside the village of Westminster. Housed in a typical English building at 89 George Street, it is only a half hour walk from the legendary Beatles studios at Abbey Road and ten minutes from Hyde Park. Inside, the restaurant presents itself as a true Mediterranean place…
In the heart of the Mediterranean: the Santo Mare of Porto Cervo is the restaurant that embodies all the best of Made in Italy. It is a few steps away from the very elegant piazzetta of Porto Cervo designed by the architect Luigi Vietti, it is furnished according to the best seafaring architectural tradition and is the triumph of the scents and flavors of the sea and the Mediterranean scrub. You will feel it when you approach the counter with the catch of the day.
The wine list of Santo Mare, both in the restaurant of London and in the one of Porto Cervo, is the mirror of our soul. There are our roots with Italian wines and there is the opening to the world with a careful selection of French and American wines.
For Italian wines, we offer the best choice of Antinori, Gaja, Marchesi Frescobaldi, Jermann, San Michele Appiano, Gianfranco Fino, Marisa Cuomo and Ca’del Bosco producers. For French wines there are all great châteaux: from the Château Petrus to the Romanée-Conti, two of the most important wineries in the world. Also find a cocktail bar, whose menus range from vintage to contemporary without excluding the classics.
